STELLA MCCARTNEY RELAUNCHES STELLA PERFUME
When I received my daughter Alena's text message at the office on Wednesday morning, I couldn't believe it... "Would you like to join me tomorrow night and meet Stella McCartney?!" OMG, yes!! Alena who is blogging on meet me stylish was lucky enough to win an invitation for 2 from lovely blogger Angela of The 3rd Voice and so we got this fabulous opportunity to meet Ms McCartney in the VIP area of Munich's biggest Douglas store for the #DouglasxStella Event.
Her relaunched fragrance STELLA is an homage to the English rose, a powerful symbol of the English fashion designer's beloved home country, and a classic expression of femininity. Both Alena and I love the top notes of rose and base notes of amber of this perfume.
Stella McCartney was really interested (as you can see in the photo below!) when Alena told her that she is studying at London's prestigious Central Saint Martins College where the designer graduated in 1995 and wished her good luck!
It was also a great opportunity to meet lovely fellow bloggers at the event including the lovely Olga of La Petite Olga and Cover PR! And the younger generation of bloggers was interested to hear that there are actually mature fashion bloggers who target at their mothers' age group :-)

Als meine Tochter Alena, die auf meet me stylish bloggt, mir am Mittwoch Vormittag folgende What's App Nachricht schickte, konnte ich es erst wirklich nicht glauben... "Magst Du mit mir morgen Abend nach München fahren und Stella McCartney treffen?!" - Ähh, JA!! Alena hatte am Giveaway bei der lieben Angela von The 3rd Voice
teilgenommen und diese Einladung in den VIP Bereich von Münchens größtem Douglas in der Theatinerstraße zum #DouglasxStella Event gewonnen!
Ihr neu aufgelegtes Eau de Parfum STELLA basiert auf den Aromen der Rose – ein Duft, den die Designerin schon seit ihrer Kindheit liebt. Ergänzt wird dies durch einen Hauch prickelnder Mandarinen-Essenz mit holzigem Amber. "Ich wollte einen Duft kreieren, der meine englische Seite hervorhebt und sehr traditionell ist", sagt Stella McCartney. Alena und ich finden den Duft klasse!
Stella McCartney war erstaunt und völlig begeistert, als Alena ihr beim Signieren des Parfums erzählte, dass sie auch am Londoner Central Saint Martins College studiert, wo die Designerin 1995 ihren Abschluss machte! Das Foto oben zeigt dies deutlich und sie wünschte Alena viel Glück!
An dem Abend haben wir tolle Bloggerinnen aus München und Wien getroffen und ich habe mich besonders gefreut, die wunderbare Olga von La Petite Olga und Cover PR persönlich kennenzulernen. Es war außerdem interessant für die jüngere Generation zu erfahren, dass es auch ältere Modebloggerinnen gibt, da ihre eigenen Mütter auf der Suche nach Bloggerinnen für ihre Altersgruppe sind! Oh ja, die gibt es :-)
