ICH MAG KEINE STREIFEN - ODER DOCH?
Lässige Kombination mit Kunstlederleggings und langer Strickjacke
Alle lieben Streifen! Fast alle, ich nämlich eigentlich nicht... aber hin und wieder eben doch.
Der größte Teil meiner Kleidung ist unifarben, ich habe wenig gemusterte Sachen in meinem Schrank. Es überwiegen klare, dunkle Töne, im Sommer kommt viel Weiß und ganzjährig neutrale Töne wie Beige, Cognac oder Cremetöne dazu. Mit diesem Stil fühle ich mich wohl, die Teile sind vielseitig zu kombinieren und ich setzte lieber auf Accessoires, um meinen Outfits eine bestimmte Stilrichtung zu geben.
Natürlich trage ich hin und wieder auch Muster, gerne großflächige, stilisierte Blumenprints - nichts kleingeblümtes, romantisches! Mustermix werdet Ihr bei mir nicht sehen, das fühlt sich für mich "falsch" an - Leo mit Blumen, nein danke ;-)
Außerdem achte ich bei Mustern darauf, dass die Farben ganz dezent sind oder ich kombiniere sie mit viel Schwarz wie bei diesem Outfit in meinem Zara Tunikakleid - übrigens einer meiner Lieblingslooks in letzter Zeit.
Das schmale Streifenshirt von Jack Wills habe ich mir von meiner Tochter ausgeliehen und mit meiner blauen Grobstrickjacke von Mango kombiniert (leider ist sie ausverkauft, ich habe weiter unten schöne Alternativen ausgesucht) und trage dazu (wieder mal) meine schwarzen Kunstlederleggings. Ihnen wird nur irgendwann der mittlerweile etwas abgetragene Zustand ein Ende bereiten - oder vielleicht doch vorher endlich wärmeres Frühlingswetter!

Accessoires sind das A und O und ohne Schmuck fühle ich mich nackt!
Mit meinen kurzen Haaren trage ich besonders gerne auffällige Ohrringe, aber auch Ketten spielen bei meinen Outfits immer eine große Rolle.

Taschen - passend zum marinefarbenen Streifenlook
Ich bin ein großer Fan von farblich genau abgestimmten Kleidungsstücken und Accessoires. Im Englischen wird das gerne als "matchy-matchy" bezeichnet. Ich gebe auch zu, dass ich ein Set aus Tasche und Schuhen toll finde, egal ob das aktuell ist oder schon lange nicht mehr. Und ich würde NIE auf Finger- und Fußnägeln unterschiedlichen Nagellack tragen ;-) Ja, das ist meine Macke (neben zahlreichen anderen!!)

Casual mix with faux leather leggings and a cosy long cardigan
Do you love stripes? Of course, everybody does, right?
It is not that I personally don't like them but they are not really part of my wardrobe. The vast majority of my clothes is plain coloured, without any patterns and in solid, dark colours. In summer I add a lot of white plus neutral tones like creme, beige or cognac all year round. My entire wardrobe is very versatile and I love to add a lot of accessories for an individual style. I cannot cope with an overload of colour and pattern and certainly no pattern mix which I rather leave to my dear friend Catherine of Not Dressed as Lamb who is THE colour and pattern queen!
Occasionally I do wear big floral prints - no romatic millefleurs - but then again colours have to be neutral, soft tones or I combine them with a lot of black. My look in a black floral ZARA tunic dress and black leggings is one of my favourite recent looks.
The waisted striped shirt from Jack Wills is actually my daughter's and I have paired it with my long blue MANGO cardigan (last seen here) and my trusted black faux leather leggings. I have worn them for years now and do need to replace them before next autumn. I don't wear them in summer but since unfortunately there is still no hint of spring around in Bavaria, I might feature them a couple more times...
Selecting different jewellery every morning is part of getting dressed and I'd feel naked leaving the house without it! I especially love big earrings with my short hair but also statement necklaces are part of my collection of jewellery.
I don't own designer handbags, yet I carefully choose them to match my style. Therefore I love colour coordinated accessories likes bags, shoes or scarves and even matching bags and shoes. I don't care whether you still do that or whether it is an outdated tradition because I am a real matchy-matchy person.
On top of that: I'd never wear a different nail varnish on finger and toenails! Just can't ;-)
