SOMMERTREND 2017: TROMPETENÄRMEL
Kürzlich hatte ich schon darüber geschrieben, dass man diesen Sommer kaum an Volants, Rüschen und Trompetenärmeln vorbeikommt. Zara war bei meinem letzten Besuch in London voll davon und zwar meistens mit floralen Drucken. Das kann schnell mal zuviel werden und man sieht sich daran sehr schnell ab. Trotzdem hatte ich mir damals eine leichte Sommertunika in diesem Stil gekauft und hier gezeigt.
Dass Volants auch jenseits von Seventies, Hippie und Boho möglich sind und sogar richtig klassisch-elegant aussehen können, beweist diese dunkelblaue Jacke, die ich bei Zara im Sale gefunden habe (leider online ausverkauft!) und derzeit mein absolutes Lieblingsteil ist! Sie entspricht 100% meinem Stil und lässt sich auch toll mit Jeans kombinieren.
Die Volantärmel der Jacke sind auffällig genug und da ich ja Outfits in 2 Farben liebe, bleibe ich auch ganz konsequent bei dunkelblau und reinem Weiss mit etwas goldenem Schmuck. Mehr Accessoires sind hier nicht nötig - im Gegenteil, sie würden den cleanen Look nur stören!
Beim Friseur war ich auch, ich habe nicht viel ändern lassen, aber hinten und die Seiten etwas nachschneiden lassen und das macht das Styling gleich wieder viel einfacher und schneller. Als ich noch längere Haare hatte (früher immer ganz lang), war ich vielleicht 2x im Jahr beim Friseur, oft hat meine Tochter die Spitzen geschnitten. Jetzt gehe ich alle 5-6 Wochen, dann ist es aber auch immer dringend nötig, dennoch bin ich so froh, dass ich mich letztes Jahr endlich zu einem Kurzhaarschnitt durchgerungen habe!

TREND CHECK SUMMER 17 : BELL SLEEVES
Recently I talked about ruffles and frills which I saw at Zara in London, mostly in combination with floral prints. A trend which I consider as very seasonal and certainly it won't be around next summer! Therefore I don't tend to spend much money on trends anyway but rather invest in pieces which I can wear more than one season.
Ruffles usually are known for their romantic, seventies or boho style but this navyblue jacket from Zara is completely different: Classy and elegant!
I found it on sale (unfortunately now sold out online) and couldn't be happier with its styling options, so it quickly became my favourite piece - certainly also beyond this summer!
I love 2-tone-looks and kept my outfit in dark blue and white, just added some golden jewellery. No further accessories are needed as the striking bell sleeves certainly don't require any further attention.
A couple of days ago I had my hair cut, it may not be noticable to you but when you have short hair, it makes such a difference, my daily styling routine is a lot easier and quicker again. When my hair was much longer, I maybe went to the hairdresser twice a year (or my daughter cut it) now I need to go about every 5-6 weeks. But I am glad I made the decision for short hair last year!
