Easy chic in a cosy cardigan

EASY CHIC IN A COSY CARDIGAN

Friday was my last day at work before a long Christmas break. I still have a lot of leave days left and since I have been very busy at the office recently, I was really looking forward to some time off. Without specific plans, I just enjoy being at home waiting for my children who will both be back for the holidays. Currently they are spending a week together and I am very happy for them!

Although the last weeks have been quite exhausting at work, I am not into the ongoing Christmas madness... no trips to overcrowded city centres and shopping malls, no extensive grocery lists for opulent Christmas meals or travel plans to see relatives. We spend time together at home and luckily my parents and my children's other grandma live in town, so it will be very easy to spend quality time with them too.

My style of clothing isn't much different at the office and after work. Of course I don't necessarily wear a blazer when I do grocery shopping (although I might when I am inclined to do so!) and I don't often go to the office in jeans (as seen here) but it is a smooth transition from work to weekend... Since I love a style mix it quickly allows me to restyle my outfit for the occasion.

For a dinner I paired my new asymmetric cardigan with fringes from Bonita with my all time favourite faux leather leggings. I think cosy and stylish go together very well!
I have mentioned a couple of times I don't wear jumpers (sweaters) as I feel uncomfortable and too warm in them. Instead I prefer cardigans which I can leave open or easily take off. This long one is very soft, I love the cotton mix and the colour is so versatile.
