TRENDFARBE GELB:
WIE KOMBINIERE ICH DIESE BESONDERE FARBE?
Gelb?
"Uhhh... sehr schwierig, steht mir gar nicht!"
"Nein, da sehe ich aus, als ob ich krank wäre!"
"Und was soll ich dazu anziehen? Mit Schwarz sieht man doch aus wie Biene Maja!"
Typische Antworten, die vermutlich jede von uns kennt und auch ich fand es nicht ganz leicht, die ungewöhnliche und besondere Farbe Gelb zu tragen. Eine sonnengelbe Bluse habe ich nach einmal Tragen aussortiert, dieser Ton stand mir wirklich nicht - außer vielleicht im Urlaub mit einer tollen Sonnenbräune, aber da geht bekanntlich fast alles... im Alltag jedoch sieht das wieder ganz anders aus!
Was ich für mich herausgefunden habe:
Kühle Limonentöne, also ein grünstichiges Gelb gefällt mir an mir am besten!

Wie taste ich mich an die Farbe Gelb heran?
- Verschiedene Gelbtöne ausprobieren:
:: zarter, softer Bananenton
:: kühles, kräftiges Zitronengelb
:: frisches, grünliches Limette
:: warmes, goldenes Sonnengelb
:: dunkles Safran mit einem Touch Ocker - Statt zu hartem Schwarz lieber mit abgeschwächten Tönen wie Blau oder Grau kombinieren.
- Jeans passen super dazu und es wirkt gleich viel lässiger.
- Die Kombination mit Weiß und Silber ist besonders edel.
- Wen die Farbe immer noch blass macht, nicht als Oberteil, bzw. nicht direkt am Gesicht tragen.
- Langsam über Accessoires herantasten; Schuhe, Taschen, Ketten, Tücher!

HOW TO WEAR THIS UNUSUAL COLOUR?

Indeed, yellow isn't an "easy" colour, it is very unique, not mainstream and can be a challenge in fashion. I once wore a warm yellow, almost safran blouse and immediately handed it down to a friend since it wasn't my colour at all. It didn't work with my complexion, especially not in winter or when I am quite pale like this summer. Warm shades might be a tone for holidays with a nice sun tan but as we all know, sunshine is always a great remedy and everything looks better in the sun light...

For me a cold lemon hue with a hint of green usually works best!

How to approach the colour yellow
- Try out which hue of yellow works for your complexion:
:: soft, light banana yellow
:: intense, bold lemon
:: fresh lime with a hint of green
:: warm, golden sun yellow
:: dark safran with a touch of ochre - Avoid the contrast with black but try it with blue or grey.
- Jeans are always a great option for an easy-going styling.
- A combination with white and silver looks stylish and sophisticated.
- If you still feel it makes you look pale, avoid wearing yellow tops i.e. not near to your face.
- Get familiar with yellow accessories like shoes, bags, necklaces, scarves.
