STYLING A RED DRESS - CASUAL LOOK

Last time I have worn this red dress in a classic styling for the office. Today I show you the same dress in a casual weekend look.
Paired with a denim jacket, a cotton scarf and platform sandals the styling is completely different and shows the versatility of this dress by Fever London. Probably most of you own a denim jacket but alternatively I can also imagine wearing it with a trendy bomber jacket or even a leather jacket. And you can easily replace my sandals by a pair of comfy slip-ons.

Often dresses are considered as "dressed up" or "for special occasions only". I don't agree! A jersey dress like this one is easy to throw on and although it is tailored it is really comfy. I hope my different stylings will give you some inspiration for your own looks. Watch out for my 3rd part for an autumn styling with boots in due time.

EIN ROTES KLEID - FREIZEIT LOOK

In meinem letzten Post habe ich Euch dieses Kleid im klassischen Styling für's Büro vorgestellt. Heute ist ein lässiger Freizeitlook dran. 
Das bedeutet Jeansjacke, Baumwollschal und Plateausandalen. Eine Jeansjacke hat fast jeder im Schrank, aber alternativ könnte ich es mir auch mir einer Bomberjacke oder sogar einer Lederjacke vorstellen. Dazu passen statt Plateausandalen natürlich auch sportliche Slipper.

Oft werden Kleider als etwas "Feines" und "Besonderes" angesehen. Ich sehe das nicht so, denn sie sind so einfach zu tragen und unterschiedlich zu stylen. Und ein Stretchkleid wie dieses ist zwar figurbetont, aber keines falls eineingend und daher auch unheimlich bequem. Ich habe ein Faible für Kleider und trage sie das ganze Jahr über. Und wenn es bald kälter wird, ersetze ich meine Sandalen oder Pumps einfach mit Stiefeln. Das wird dann Teil 3 meiner Serie.

STYLING A RED DRESS - CLASSIC LOOK

A bright red dress is a statement by itself and doesn't need much styling. This jersey dress by Fever London is so easy to throw on! Paired with some animal prints and a nude bag I already wore it to the office. And when it is getting colder, I will try it with boots and a blazer or cardigan.

Of course I look into the mirror when I get dressed but a photo does reveal a lot more and only after I sorted these photos, I realised it is a tad too wide around the middle part. I will take it to my seamstress (I am her best customer...) and have her take it in a bit on both sides.

EIN ROTES KLEID - KLASSISCHES STYLING

Ein rotes Kleid allein ist ja schon ein Hingucker und daher sind auch nicht viele Accessoires nötig, zumindest nicht für tagsüber. Dieses Stretchkleid von Fever London ist genau, was ich für die Übergangszeit gesucht habe - die Qualität ist nicht zu dünn und die Ärmellänge ideal für's Büro. Kombiniert habe ich es ganz simpel mit Leopumps und einer neutralen Handtasche. Für kühlere Temperaturen kann ich einen Blazer oder Cardigan und Stiefel dazu tragen.

Natürlich schaue ich in den Spiegel, bevor ich aus dem Haus gehe, aber dass das Kleid dennoch um die Taille und Hüften eine Idee zu weit ist, habe ich erst genauer gesehen, als ich die Fotos für diesen Post ausgesucht habe. Meine Schneiderin wird es ein bisschen enger machen. Ich bin echt ihre beste Kundin...

When I see other bloggers wearing a pattern mix I always wonder how effortless they have created that look, as this it not my no.1 skill. Therefore I am cheating a bit today when this colourful stripes & roses dress immediately caught my attention with its ready-made pattern mix! Ruby Belle is a second line of Fever London, a UK vintage brand currently showcased by my gorgeous blogger friend Catherine of Not Dressed As Lamb.

We are going through a period of grey and rainy weather and when I did my annual spring flower shopping for my terrace, I had the idea of taking our photos in one of the greenhouses. Enjoy a bright and colourful post amongst geraniums, petunias and roses today.

Wenn ich bei anderen Bloggerinnen Outfits im Mustermix sehe, bin ich immer wieder erstaunt, wie einfach und lässig das aussieht, da ich das irgendwie nie schaffe. Heute schummle ich daher ein bisschen mit diesem Kleid, das mir diesen Mix aus Streifen und Blumen einfach abgenommen hat!  Ruby Belle ist eine Zweitlinie des Vintage Labels Fever London, für das meine liebe Bloggerfreundin Catherine von Not Dressed As Lamb nicht nur für eine Kampagne vor der Kamera stand, sondern auch derzeit ein Kleid auf ihrem Blog zeigt.

Bei unserem momentanen grauen Regenwetter war es unmöglich, draußen Fotos zu machen, daher gibt es heute Innenaufnahmen, aber nicht in meinem Wohnzimmer, sondern im Gewächshaus meiner Lieblingsgärtnerei, wo ich immer meine Frühlingsblumen für die Terrasse kaufe.
