COMFORTABLE JOGGERS - STYLED MY WAY

I'd never leave the house in joggers (sweatpants) except for the gym. However, I think King Karl wasn't referring to the more sophisticated type of comfy trousers in silky soft-touch fabrics.

Recently I found these black trousers with contrasting side stripes at Zara's sale and couldn't resist but wanted to wear them right away. I love to style them with stilettos and a classy blazer in the warmer season but due to the snow today's look is more comfortable and practical with my favourite leather booties and a stretch blazer.

"Wer eine Jogginghose trägt, hat die Kontrolle über sein Leben verloren" ein Ausspruch Karl Lagerfelds aus dem Jahr 2012.

Ich käme auch nie auf die Idee, eine "richtige" Jogginghose außerhalb meiner eigenen 4 Wände oder des Fitness Studios zu tragen. Insofern hat King Karl natürlich völlig echt, das geht für mich gar nicht. Aber ich glaube nicht, dass er dabei die sehr viel stilvollere, lediglich vom Schnitt her an Jogginghosen angelehnte Variante in fließendem Material gemeint hat!

So eine Hose habe ich kürzlich im Sale bei Zara gefunden und wollte nicht warten bis ich sie in edlerem Styling mit Stilettos tragen kann, sondern zeige sie Euch heute vorab schon einmal mit Stiefeletten. Wichtig ist für mich dabei die Kombination mit einem Blazer, den Stilbruch finde ich bei diesem Hosentyp ganz wichtig. Dennoch ist es heute wetterbedingt ein etwas lässigerer Look, eine feinere Variante werde ich Euch vorstellen, wenn es das Wetter im Frühjahr erlaubt.

HOW TO PIMP UP A NEUTRAL LOOK WITH COLOUR

DASH OF COLOUR

While we are still having a lot of snow, we currently enjoy sunny days and slightly milder temperatures. My quilted coats are still required in the mornings when I go to work but I hope for not too much longer!

I am wearing a casual look with my comfortable dark blue NYDJ jeans (worn in this post here) and equally comfy Clarks leather boots from Shoetique. Read my review in this previous post - love them and they are on SALE right now!

Adding a dash of colour to the neutral look with my new red cross body bag from Accessorize. Obviously it has been so popular that it's already sold out but I put together some lovely options for you.

ROTER FARBTUPFER

Wir haben immer noch Massen an Schnee, doch es ist jetzt schön sonnig und die Temperaturen sind tagsüber einigermaßen mild. Es ist hier am Alpenrand sogar Föhn vorhergesagt, der dann sicher auch einen Teil schmelzen lässt... mehr darf ich dazu nicht schreiben, mein Sohn nennt das sonst wieder "einen Deiner Winter Jammer Posts" ;-)

Heute gibt es einen ganz legeren Look - ich trage meine dunkelblauen Jeans von NYDJ, die ich letztes Jahr hier gezeigt habe und die durch den stützenden Stretchanteil super bequem ist und einfach gut sitzt!   Genauso sehr liebe ich meine Clarks Lederstiefel von Shoetique. Im Herbst hatte ich sie hier vorgestellt und jetzt sind sie im SALE zu haben!

Da mein Look farblich ganz neutral ist, spielt meine kleine rote Crossbody Bag von Accessorize die Hauptrolle und bringt Farbe ins Spiel! Leider ist sie momentan schon ausverkauft, aber ich habe Euch etliche schöne Alternativen zusammengestellt.

RED STUDDED DRESS

Recently I have worn trousers most of the time because they are more suitable for our winter weather with lots of snow... but I really want to get my dresses and skirts out again!


This studded stretch dress is from German designer Thomas Rath's special collection THOM for QVC and is also available in black. 

I have worn it during my restyling and photo session for QVC and their customer magazine INSIDER last autumn. 

The stretch fabric is very comfortable and thick enough to be worn during the colder season.

In letzter Zeit habe ich überwiegend Hosen getragen - wetterbedingt waren sie im Schnee einfach praktischer. Aber ich kann es gar nicht erwarten, endlich wieder mehr Kleider und Röcke zu tragen! Dieses Stretchkleid mit Nietenbesatz stammt von Designer Thomas Rath aus seiner Kollektion THOM für QVC und ist auch noch in Schwarz erhältlich. Ich habe es während meines Restylings und der Fotoaufnahmen für das QVC Kundenmagazin INSIDER letzten Herbst getragen. Das Stretchmaterial ist unheimlich angenehm und die dickere Qualität macht es perfekt für die kältere Jahreszeit.

More leather looks, just tell me when you've had enough ;-) While I am waiting for spring (probably for several more weeks... sigh...) before I can get my dresses, skirts and heels out again, I try to make the most of my leather leggings. Styling them in many different ways should give you some inspiration too. And there finally will be a dress... in red... with studs... in my next post!

White is often considered as a summer colour and I don't wear white trousers in winter (not because of any outdated rules but they are not suitable for our weather and climate), but I love white tops or accessories for a very clean look all year round.

WINTER LOOK IN LEDER UND WEISS

Von Leder und Kunstleder kann ich momentan einfach nicht genug bekommen! Jetzt ist die Zeit, Lederleggings zu tragen, bevor ich im Frühling dann endlich wieder meine Kleider, Röcke und vor allem leichte Schuhe aus dem Schrank holen kann. Aber Ihr seht ja die Schneemassen, die wir momentan noch haben und laut Wetterbericht wird es eher mehr und soll kalt bleiben! Ach ja, nächstes Mal zeige ich Euch trotzdem ein Kleid - es ist rot und hat Nieten... wenn wir schon beim Thema Leder sind ;-)

Weiß sehe ich eher als Sommerfarbe und ich würde im Winter auch keine weißen Hosen tragen - nicht wegen überholter Stilregeln, sondern weil es hier für unser alpines Klima und Wetter einfach nicht passend ist. Aber Weiß bei Blusen und Accessoires und vor allem in Kombination mit Schwarz ergibt diesen cleanen Look, den ich neuerdings besonders gerne mag!

WINTER LAYER LOOK IN FAUX FUR AND LEATHER

This year winter is rich in snow here in the Bavarian Alps with constant changes from sunshine to heavy snowfall the next day. Shovelling snow each morning before going to see office seems to be my daily workout these days... not amused though.

That and a lot more what's going on in my daily life you can find over at Instagram!

Are you following me yet? It became my favourite social media.

Obviously it is cold and layers are always a good choice for variable weather but essential right now! This look with a faux fur vest is ideal for weekends or after office hours while I pair it with a classic blazer for work. I have shown you these burgundy trousers in a different styling with grey and jewel tones here.
The strong reflection of the sunlight and the snow makes sunglasses vital, I could barely keep my eyes open without them!

WINTER LAGENLOOK IN KUNSTFELL UND LEDER

Dieses Jahr haben wir einen sehr schneereichen Winter hier im Süden Bayerns und ich weiß, dass sich das viele statt eines grauen Matschwetters sehr wünschen. Kann ich auch gut verstehen, aber ich bin und bleibe ein Sommertyp! Es wechselt momentan auch täglich zwischen sonnigem Traumwetter wie hier und heftigem Schneefall am nächsten Tag!

Mehr nicht nur zum Wetter, sondern viele Fotos von mir und meinem Alltag gibt es auf Instagram, das mittlerweile zu meinem liebsten social media wurde. Folgt Ihr mir bereits?

Ein Layerlook ist um diese Jahreszeit wirklich am praktischsten und mit meiner Fellweste (eigentlich gehört sie meiner Tochter) zur Kunstlederleggins ist es ein passender Look für's Wochenende. Im Büro trage ich statt der Weste einen klassischen Blazer dazu. Die Hose hatte ich Euch hier in Kombination mit Silbergrau und Beerentönen gezeigt. Der Schnee blendet übrigens derart, dass ich meine Sonnebrille kaum absetzen konnte!
