SUMMER EVENING IN A CORAL DRESS
Old but still one of my favourites...
I am sure you have clothes in your wardrobe which you wear year after year... this coral dress from Mango is such a piece - I just can't sort it out and so it makes an appearance again today. I often wear it to the office and also like to pair it with a blazer. But since we have had the most amazing summer with very high temperatures, sleeveless dresses and tops have been my daily work attire over the last weeks. This is commonly accepted here in Germany although I wouldn't wear spaghetti straps to the office! Find out more about my work outfits here and here.
With my dress I am wearing big hoop earrings which have been a recent style challenge by Catherine of Not Dressed As Lamb. The top 40+ UK blogger started a great initiative #iwillwearwhatilike on Instagram - read more about "Dressing without the fear of "What Will Others Think...?" on her blog. Do you feel the same? Of course I want to feel comfortable in what I wear, it has to flatter my body and match my personal style - although sometimes it's nice to step outside your comfort zone! MANGO KLEID IN KORALLE
Alt, aber immer noch eines meiner Lieblingskleider...
Sicher habt auch Ihr Sachen im Kleiderschrank, die Ihr Jahr für Jahr wieder anzieht, oder? Bei mir gehört dieses korallfarbene Stretchkleid von Mango dazu. Ich kann mich einfach nicht davon trennen. Gerne trage ich es im Büro, wenn es kühler ist, mit einem Blazer, aber bei den derzeitigen heißen Temperaturen gehe ich fast immer ärmellos. Das finde ich auch absolut angemessen, solange es keine Spaghettiträger sind! Mehr Looks für's Büro habe ich Euch kürzlich hier und hier gezeigt.
Zu meinem Kleid trage ich übergroße Kreolen, die vor kurzem auch das Tagesmotto der Stylechallenge meiner Bloggerfreundin Catherine von Not Dressed As Lamb waren. Die Top Ü40 Bloggerin Großbritanniens startete Anfang August die Initiative #iwillwearwhatilike (Ich ziehe an, was ich will) auf Instagram - Infos gibt es dazu ihrem Post "Dressing without the fear of "What Will Others Think...?" (ich kümmere mich nicht darum, was andere denken). Wie seht Ihr das? Natürlich trage ich nicht alles... es ist mir wichtig, dass ich mich darin wohlfühle, es zu meiner Figur und meinem persönlichen Stil passt. Manchmal ist es aber auch ganz spannend, mal was ganz anderes auszuprobieren! Wenn Ihr mitmachen möchtet, postet einfach ein Foto mit dem o.g. Hashtag - das jeweilige Thema findet Ihr hier. Man braucht dazu übrigens keinen Blog und eine tägliche Teilnahme ist auch nicht nötig - macht aber natürlich Spaß!
