TRACK PANTS ETHNIC STYLE

Last week we were surprised by a sudden snowfall of 15" within 24hrs! That has been the biggest amount we have had all winter but luckily the ground wasn't frozen, temperatures immediately increased and almost as fast as it came, it melted. This weekend we were back to fabulous spring weather with 20C and bright sunshine.

My look is casual: Ethnic printed track pants (love these and these), layering top and a waterfall cardigan from Wallis. I have worn this black silky top which adea sent me in autumn numerous times this winter and for sure it will be part of my wardrobe all year round!

My daughter is still here until Easter and I took the opportunity and shopped her closet for this look, see her version here.

Nachdem wir den ganzen Winter so gut wie keinen Schnee hatten, wurden wir letzte Woche plötzlich von 40cm innerhalb von 24 Stunden überrascht! Zum Glück sind die Temperaturen anschließend gleich wieder gestiegen, sodass dieses Wochenende nichts mehr davon zu sehen war.

Es war sehr ungewohnt, am Montag mit Daunenmantel und Winterstiefeln ins Büro zu gehen, aber als wir diese Fotos gemacht haben, waren Straßen und Wege längst wieder frei. Ich hatte mich für eine lässige, bedruckte Hose (auch super: hier und hier), Top und Jacke im Lagenlook entschieden. Alles Ton-in-Ton schwarz-beige und meinen Schmuck habe ich passend zum Ethnomuster der Hose ausgesucht. 

Meine Tochter hat noch bis Ostern Semesterferien und daher konnte ich die Hose von ihr ausleihen, was wir ja sehr oft gegenseitig machen. Wie Alena diese Hose gestylt hat, könnt Ihr hier sehen.

A STATEMENT IN LEATHER TROUSERS

Can you afford new clothes every week? Like most of us I am sadly not in that position... creativity is what we fashion bloggers are good at, aren't we? Looking for ways to restyle our existing wardrobe, finding new colour combinations, get inspirations from other bloggers and Pinterest, transforming pieces from one season into the next and creating new looks with trendy accessories.

You have seen these olive faux leather trousers here when I wore them with an oversized, light blouse - now I paired them with a layering top from adea {shown here} and an embellished drape cardigan by Wallis {last seen here}. I just recently found the necklace at H&M. I am also in love with this gorgeous pearl necklace worn by Stefanie of Sea of Teal - these necklaces really make a statement and give any outfit a special touch!

Könnt Ihr Euch für jede Woche neue Kleidung leisten? Wie wohl die meisten unter uns, kann ich das leider nicht... daher finde ich es wichtig, zu zeigen, wie man vorhandene Kleidung umstylen, in der nächsten Saison tragen, mit neuen Farben mixen oder mit trendigen Accessoires verändern und aufpeppen kann.

Diese olivefarbene Hose in Lederoptik habe ich bereits hier mit einer leichten oversized Bluse vorgestellt, nun habe ich sie jahreszeitlich passend mit meinem Dauereinsatz-Layering Top {hier gezeigt} von adea und einem perlenbesetzten Cardigan von Wallis {hier getragen} kombiniert. Die Statement Kette habe ich vor ein paar Tagen bei H&M entdeckt und bin ganz begeistert davon. Und auf diese große Perlenkette, die Stefanie von Sea of Teal hier trägt, habe ich ebenfalls ein Auge geworfen. Ketten und ich... ;-)

It's the time of the year to put on some glamour! Regular readers know that my favourite garment is a dress. For me nothing beats a Little Black Dress for going out!

Jetzt ist die Zeit für Glamour! Ihr wisst, wie sehr ich Kleider liebe und für einen besonderen Anlass geht für mich nichts über ein Kleines Schwarzes. Auch für die diesjährige Weihnachtsfeier hatte ich natürlich schon überlegt, was ich anziehen werde, wobei es bei uns sogar mehrere gibt, darunter eine eine sehr große Party und ein festliches Dinner. 

Wallis Kleider entsprechen nicht nur genau meinem Stil - sondern auch meinem Budget! Ich habe Euch dieses Jahr hier, hier und hier bereits mehrere vorgestellt. Die Passform, die Qualität und die Länge stimmen bei allen Kleidern und ich kann mich einfach darauf verlassen, dass sie mir passen und stehen, ich habe noch nie ein Teil zurückgeschickt.

Als ich mir nun bei Wallis ein Kleid aus ihrer tollen Kollektion aussuchen durfte, war das einzige Problem, dass ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte... es gibt zu viele, die in Frage kamen! Als die Wahl auf dieses enganliegende mit langen paillettenbesetzten Ärmeln fiel, stand auch fest, dass es das Kleid für das diesjährige Dinner sein wird!

PAISLEY PRINTS BY WALLIS

My new Wallis dress is one of the most comfortable dresses I have - the style and the silky material are so easy to wear and I just feel "that's me!" Perfect for the office and in the colder season I can add a cardigan or a blazer and boots. 

The only colour dash in my monochrome look is the orange bag today but it can be replaced by any other colour - either bag, cardigan or even both! I am looking forward to play with red or yellow accessories.

My readers know I am a fan of Wallis and love their new collection of dresses here and here and here.

Vor ein paar Tagen hat mir der Postbote mein neues Wallis Kleid gebracht und es ist eines der bequemsten Kleider, die ich habe - der Schnitt und das seidige Stretchmaterial sind superangenehm zu tragen und ich fühle mich darin rundum wohl - genau mein Stil!

Das Kleid ist perfekt für's Büro und ich werde in der kälteren Jahreszeit einen Cardigan oder Blazer und Stiefel dazu tragen.

Der einzige Farbtupfer ist meine orangefarbene Tasche, aber ich werde es auch mit anderen Farben kombinieren, z.B. rot oder gelb.
