Antonietta - italienische Bloggerin mit Stil, Sinnlichkeit, Selbstbewußtsein, Vielseitigkeit und umwerfender Weiblichkeit! Eine Frau, die ihre Kurven zeigt und andere mit ihrer Lebensfreude ansteckt. Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert, wenn ich Antonietta's Blog My Vintage Curves besuche. Und ich ertappe mich selbst dabei, ein extra Kilo auf den Hüften lieber zu verpacken als zu zeigen... Nicht so Antonietta, die für mich ein Vorbild ist, wenn es darum geht, zum eigenen Körper zu stehen und ihn zu lieben!

Would you share some personal information? Where do you come from and live?
I’m from Italy, I live in Calabria, the deepest south of the Italian Peninsula. I’m an architect and a freelance photographer.
The name “My Vintage Curves” indicates you have a female body and not an XS size. You are confident with your curves and posted bikini photos. What kind of feedback have you received?
First it was quite strange for me to see a lot of women telling me about their life and talking about their bodies and low confidence. But I understood that self confidence is something difficult to develop and it could be helpful to share thoughts and experiences with someone who has the same ones. I have never lied about my flaws and I show myself as I am: an imperfect but confident woman in her middle 30. Sharing is the key of my blog.
Würdest Du ein paar persönliche Informationen preisgeben? Woher kommst Du und wo lebst Du?
Ich komme aus Kalabrien, dem südlichsten Teil Italiens. Ich bin Architektin und freiberufliche Fotografin.
Der Name “My Vintage Curves” deutet an, dass Du eine weibliche, kurvige Figur hast und nicht Größe XS trägst. Du magst Deine Kurven und hast sogar Bikinifotos gepostet. Welche Reaktionen hast Du darauf erhalten?
Zunächst war es befremdend, als mir viele Frauen geschrieben haben und mir über ihr Leben, ihre Figur und ihr geringes Selbstbewußtsein erzählt haben. Ich verstehe, dass es nicht einfach ist, Selbstbewußtsein aufzubauen. Daher dachte ich, dass es hilfreich ist, wenn ich als jemand mit den gleichen Erfahrungen darüber schreiben würde. one who has the same
ones. Ich habe nie über meine körperlichen "Unzureichlichkeiten" gelogen und zeige mich wie ich bin: Eine nicht perfekte, aber selbstbewußte Frau Mitte 30. Diese Offenheit ist der Schlüssel meines Blogs.
Why did you start blogging and what goals do you have with your blog?
I started two years ago and my goal is to show that fashion is not only for rich, thin and young people. We all can improve our style in a conscious and smart way, enhancing our qualities and personality instead of following all the crazy trends the fashion industry proposes. I also try to promote a more ecofriendy and slow way of life and ethical consumerism.
Warum hast Du begonnen zu bloggen und welche Ziele hast Du mit Deinem Blog?
Ich habe vor 2 Jahren begonnen und möchte einfach zeigen, dass Mode nicht nur etwas für reiche, dünne und junge Frauen ist. Wir können alle unseren Stil mit Bedacht und auf intelligente Art und Weise verbessern, indem wir an unseren eigenen Qualitäten und Persönlichkeiten arbeiten, statt den verrückten Trends hinterherzulaufen, die uns die Modeindustrie verkaufen möchte. Dabei versuche ich, für einen unweltfreundlichen und bewußten Lebensstil, sowie ethisch verantwortlichen Konsum zu werben.
How would you describe your style? Do you follow trends? What makes an outfit truly yours?
I love all the things vintage and handmade. My perfect outfit mixes different pieces: something vintage, something new and a touch of creativity; I also try to go along with my body shape and my typically Italian (I can say Mediterranean because I love colors, straight waist and full skirts) sense of style.
Wie würdest Du Deinen Stil beschreiben? Was macht Deinen eigenen Stil aus?
Ich mag Vintage und alles handgemachte. Ein perfektes Outfit besteht für mich aus verschiedenen Elementen: Vintage, etwas neues und dazu ein Touch Kreativität; dabei versuche ich natürlich sowohl meine Figur als auch meinen typisch Italienischen Stil einzubeziehen - ich nenne ihn auch Mediterran, da ich Farben, eine betonte Taille und weite Röcke liebe!
How do you balance your time dedicated to the blog and your personal life?
It’s such a hard thing to do! I have to work and I have a lot of interests in addition to the blog and this year I started studying at university again. But I love the good vibrations and the opportunity of communicating that the blog gave me too much to give up writing, so I bit the bullet and go on!
Wie teilst Du die Zeit zwischen Bloggen und Deinem Privatleben auf?
Das ist so schwer! I arbeite und ich habe viele Interessen neben meinem Blog. Außerdem habe ich mich wieder an der Uni eingeschrieben. Aber ich liebe meinen Blog mit all den tollen Möglichkeiten und Austausch viel zu sehr, sodass ich mich entschlossen habe, einfach weiterzumachen!
Have you ever attended a blogger conference or a major blogger or fashion event?
I join Milan fashion week twice a year and I periodically met other bloggers (expecially curvy and plus size ones or vintage lovers) at fashion events.
Hast Du schon einmal an einer Bloggerkonferenz teilgenommen, an einem anderen großen Bloggerevent oder einer Fashion Week?
Ich fahre jedes Jahr zweimal zur Mailänder Fashion Week und treffe mich regelmäßig mit anderen Bloggern, vor allem "curvy und plus size", sowie Vintage Bloggern auf entsprechenden Events.
Do you occasionally meet fellow bloggers? How do your non-blogger friends react to your blog?
I have a lot of fellow bloggers I love and I meet them mostly in Milan or during my trips, because they live far from my place. But my non blogger friends are the majority and they always kid me when I take pictures for the blog; as you can see in my photos I laugh most of the time, because of people behind the camera making faces and telling funny things. Anyway they are all very supportive and encourage me to follow my not so popular thoughts about self acceptance, recycling and preservation of personal aura.
Triffst Du Dich hin und wieder mit anderen Bloggern? Wie reagieren Deine Nicht-Bloggerfreunde auf Deinen Blog?
I habe viele Bloggerkolleginnen, die ich liebe und mich mit ihnen meistens in Mailand oder während meiner Trips treffe, da sie sehr weit von mir entfernt wohnen. Aber ich habe mehr Nicht-Bloggerfreunde, die mich immer aufziehen, wenn ich Blogfotos mache; auf den meisten Fotos lache ich, da sie oft hinter der Kamera stehen und Späße machen und mich dadurch zum Lachen bringen! Aber sie unterstützen mich alle und ermuntern mich immer wieder auch bei meinen nicht so populären Themen, wie sich selbst so zu akzeptieren wie man ist!
Do you prefer online shopping or do you love extensive shopping trips?
I don’t love shopping at all! I prefer tracking down clothes in old chests and swap them with relatives and friends, and then refresh them and using in different ways. I also like flea markets and second hand shops.
Bevorzugst Du online shopping oder gehst Du lieber in normale Geschäfte?
Ehrlich gesagt gehe ich gar nicht gerne shoppen! Ich durchsuche wahnsinnig gerne alte Schränke und tausche Kleidung mit Verwandten und Freunden, bessere sie aus oder ändere sie und trage sie dann wieder. Und ich liebe Flohmärkte und Secondhandläden.
Do you have any fashion or style icon?
I choose my icons for their personality and not only for their style, so I love Nouvelle Vague’s actresses. Among the current fashionistas I like Lupita Nyong'o, Farida Khelfa, Inès de la Fressange and Olivia Palermo.
