Frühlingskombination mit Weiß und frischem Pink

Bordeaux wird oft als Farbe für den Winter angesehen und ich trage diesen dunklen Beerenton auch gerne mit Schwarz. Diese lange, samtweiche Strickjacke habe ich im kalten Januar kombiniert mit Silbergrau hier vorgestellt.

Ich versuche, meine Kleidung - jahreszeitlich angepasst - möglichst ganzjährig zu tragen, schließlich wäre es schade, sie die Hälfte des Jahres ungetragen im Schrank hängen zu lassen, oder? Gerade für Strickjacken gibt es bei uns selbst im Sommer (leider) sowieso genug kühle Winterabende, an denen ich froh drüber bin, mich darin einzukuscheln.

Jetzt im Frühling freue ich mich sehr, wieder Weiß tragen zu können, eine Farbe, die ich im Winter - außer bei Blusen - so gut wie nie wähle. Weiße Hosen bei kaltem, schlechten Wetter finde ich unpassend, ich käme gar nicht auf die Idee, sie aus dem Kleiderschrank zu holen.

Und wie so oft bei meinen Outfits, setze ich auf nur 2 Farben. Aber zur Auflockerung kommt ein gemustertes Halstuch mit kräftigem Pink dazu. Es ist ein Tuch, das ich vor einigen Jahren bei H+M gekauft habe und ich bin sicher, es hat damals weniger als 10€ gekostet, aber ich mag es immer  noch total gerne!

Die Frage:
Sind schulterfreie Blusen ein Trend, den ich mitmachen möchte?

An schulterfreien Tops kommt man in dieser Frühling/Sommersaison kaum vorbei. Mit kleinen Streublümchen oder in Vichykaro, mit Volants, bauchfrei oder im Vintagelook - es gibt sie in allen Varianten.

Muss man jeden Trend mitmachen? Natürlich nicht und das hat erstmal nichts mit dem Alter zu tun! Ich sehe mich nicht als Trendsetterin und beobachte immer gerne erst einmal, ob und was mir gefällt. Am wichtigsten ist dabei wie immer: Passt ein Trend zu mir, meiner Figur und meinem persönlichen Stil?

Beim aktuellen "off-the-shoulder" Look war für mich diese Frage einfach und schnell zu beantworten, denn meine Schulterpartie gehört zu den Körperteilen, die ich an mir mag! Und da wir ja alle immer sehr kritisch mit uns sind, stehe ich in diesem Fall einfach dazu! Schon früher habe ich ein schulterfreie Tops gern getragen und Euch hier mein edles, smaragdgrünes Neckholdertop gezeigt.

After all the rain we finally had some lovely weather and although the forecast is still a bit variable, I take every opportunity to wear a skirt or a dress now. Just ignore my pale legs for the moment... slowly getting there with a little help of a selftanning lotion and hopefully some sunshine on my terrace!

I am recovering from my knee injury but I am still unable to do sports and I wear flats or medium heels most of the time. I've only worn this look with peeptoes during the photoshoot (as you can see on one of the photos). Besides my sleeveless vest (shown here and here), this pencil skirt was another purchase from H&M in a long time. Still happy with both! The length of the skirt is perfect for the office where I have worn it with a soft blouse from Mango.

I took advantage of the sunshine we had these days and spent as much time as possible outside. Besides gardening it was lovely sitting on my terrace reading and just enjoying the nice spring weather. That also gave my legs a chance for a light tan to get them ready for more skirts and dresses over the next months!

The lovely weather encouraged me to wear this spring look from Boden with its unique style: Colourful graphic prints yet classy and easy to combine with pieces I already have in my wardrobe. The blue A-line skirt is a great choice for summer and although I am only 5'4 I ordered the "long" version as I prefer a length that doesn't end above my knees.
